◆ L'ATELIER DE COUTURE ◆

Behind the Velvet Curtains

The soul of the opera resides not only under the spotlights, but deep within the quiet chambers of our historical costume workshops. Since MDCCCXCVII, our atelier has preserved the ancient secrets of French hand-tailoring and dressmaking. Here, a single costume can take upwards of three hundred hours of precision craft.

Every thread of gold is woven by hand. Every piece of silk is imported from Lyon. Every sequin is secured to mimic the natural sparkle of theatrical gaslights. Our master artisans work in a chamber unchanged for generations, preserving a lineage of beauty that bridges the historical with the magical.

"Nous créons des rêves de soie et de velours pour habiller l'âme."
